$$ is an evil thing

$$ is a really evil thing... i remember last time i lent some $1k to my fren, and afta 2 months i asked: "when can you return me?", i only got "i got no $$ now la, i try to return you next month" and another 2 months passed, then he returned me $500... and then i tried another 2 months later, and another month passed b4 i got another $250. and then i dunno how long later i got back $200... that makes $50 left. since around 2years ago.

so recently i got to meet up with my fren again, who helped me to buy an mp3 player from the comex it show thingie. i guessed he still remembered that theres $50 left over from the last time, so he said i pay him $200 for the mp3 player can oready ($279 is the actual price).

within a few days, he asked me "when can you return me the $200". so i said "bz recently so i forgot"... then within a week i got a frenly reminder again... which i immediately transferred the $$ over, in case more reminders no so frenly come along...

i guess when it comes to $$, ppl can only see their side of the story huh... so even Jimmy said i can "borrow from us 1st la if you 'liong'...", i still wun wan to do so, cos $$ can turn the best of frens into enemies with grudges, no matter no close you were...
